OUR STORY
In 1996 Advanced Contracting Group’s owner, Dirk Olsen, entered the energy Industry with one oil truck and several oil disposal contracts. As a result of his vision and focus, Raptor Industries was born. Over the years Raptor Industries grew into a chemical company specializing in glycol, TEG and methanol services for use in oil and gas. As Raptor Industries continued to grow, Dirk identified a need for a general service contractor to support oil and gas projects. This led to the creation of Advanced Oilfield Services in 2001. AOS was initially headquartered in Rifle, Colorado and served the Piceance Basin. Over the years AOS grew to become a leader and preferred service provider on the service side of oilfield construction and development. This led to a nationwide expansion in 2009, where AOS expanded office and service locations to Claysville, Pennsylvania and the Marcellus Shale Play.
Advanced Oilfield Services brought extensive knowledge, creative solutions and a wealth of experience into this new and booming field. In 2012, AOS continued its success and growth, and expanded into the Utica Shale Play with offices in Mineral City, Ohio, as well as into the Bakken with offices in Williston, North Dakota. From 2015 to 2017 AOS expanded services offerings to support projects in the DJ Basin and Carlsbad, New Mexico.
To date, Advanced Contracting Group has offices nationwide and has expanded services offerings from primarily an oil and gas contractor, to include renewable energy, civil and municipal project development as well as water contracting support. In an effort to stay ahead of the technology curve and keep up with the ever changing energy industry, Advanced Contracting Group has successfully expanded our overall arsenal of knowledge and experience to provide valuable project support across multiple industries.
